The backbone of our success is the relationships we have built with our subcontractors. By having long-standing relationships, each party knows what to expect from the other. For instance, each subcontractor knows that Tidewater Builders requires them to be licensed in their field of expertise and to carry liability and workers compensation insurance. Each year they must submit proof of both in order to continue to be paid in a timely and reasonable manner.
They also know each other. Since Tidewater Builders builds a home in five to six months, scheduling is an important part of the process. By knowing who has been before them and who will be coming after them, and that they will see each other again on the next job site, Tidewater Builders has promoted quality assurance and professionalism within our building family.
